CARE - Community Events

CARE is run as a charitable organisation by a group of residents committed to bringing fun and interesting events to the villages of Carsington and Hopton for the benefit of our community.

As a non-profit organisation we aim to organise a calendar of events and raise funds to maintain and insure the Village Pavillion and field. We also use the monies raised to fund bigger and better events or events that are free to the village to make it an even better place to live.

Who are CARE?

CARE has existed for over 30 years and been run by many of the families and people who continue to live within the villages of Carsington & Hopton.

The committee is voted in each year at our AGM, with the official roles of Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer & Secretary elected, alongside the general committee members.

Meetings are held throughout the year in the Miner's Arms Pub or Church and we welcome attendance and any support from local residents or members of the community.
