 may be able to help you during an emergency or crisis situation and to support you to continue to live independently or cope with exceptional pressure when you have no other source of funding. Two funds are available:

• exceptional pressure grant

• emergency cash payment

PENSION CREDIT
Are you one of the million pensioners missing out on a critical boost to your income? This payment is worth on average £3,300 a year, It's called pension credit, and this year it also means you get an extra £650 to help with energy bills. If you are of state pension age (so currently 66 or older) and have total weekly income under roughly £200, then get online at www.gov.uk/pensioncredit or call the pension credit helpline on 0800 99 1234 to see if you're due.
